Who are we?
Our Story
Our story began with the sympathetic restoration of our period home where we developed a deep appreciation and affection for the character found in older properties. Throughout this project, we struggled to find high-quality replacements for woodwork that had been damaged or completely removed. Adding new features, such as architectural panelling and architraves, was also a challenge. We didn’t want glued on MDF or other materials that didn’t align with our values or our home. So, armed with a love of interior architecture, a background in research and my husband’s in furniture design, we decided to head to our joinery workshop to make our own.
Our mission
Our mission is simple – to create beautifully crafted made-to-measure timber panelling and architectural joinery that brings warmth, texture and character to contemporary and historic properties. By combining traditional joinery techniques with thoughtful design, we produce woodwork of the highest standard. Essentially, we believe in making things “proper”, using naturally sustainable materials that add lasting value to your home. Every piece we make reflects our belief that good design, skilled craftsmanship and genuine quality will never go out of style.
